1967 was a great year for Montreal! While we hosted the world at the spectacular Expo '67, the BAR-B-BARN opened its doors at 1201 Guy St. And though Expo may be a distant memory, the BAR-B is going stronger than ever. From the beginning, the BAR-B has occupied a special place in the hearts (and taste buds) of Montrealers and visitors from around the world. Three generations later we’ve built an unsurpassed reputation on our famous ribs and juicy chicken. We start with only the best premium racks of side ribs and cook them slowly, smothered in our own secret sauce, until they are incredibly tender and tasty. How good are they? Everyone agrees - simply the best!

Let's not forget our chicken. Again we start with the best- premium young, juicy chicken, grain-fed for flavor and broiled to perfection with a crispy skin and incredibly moist inside. Paired with our ribs, it’s a match made in culinary heaven.

In 1981, we made our debut on the West Island at 3300 Sources Boulevard and our reputation continued to grow. Over 40 years later, we’re still a dominant fixture on the Montreal restaurant scene because we’ve never forgotten our roots- great food, friendly service, outstanding value- a fun place to eat with friends and family.
